Poor data costs 7.3% in lost revenueIn a recent survey, U.S. businesses blamed data quality for lost revenue in excess of 7 percent. QAS, a division of Experian, found that inaccurate data costs businesses money because of wasted resources and lost productivity. The biggest problem came from duplicated data and incorrectly addressed mail. They found that poor data quality affects how consumers perceive an organization’s brand. |
